pulling my six

I hope you go with 2-1/4" pipes? Looks like you got split headers and a 4 bbl on there, nice! Mine's stock except for the super 6 and a Weber 32/26 on it, nuthin fancy on my BamBam. See my tagline below!

I think they are 2 1/4". dual pipes. sounds like a nest of hornets at full throttle though. sounds like ****. I need to change it, but I dont know what to change it to. keep duals? single 2 1/2"?

it s not what you have have its, how you hop it up and make it go, i flew by a new mustang on the highway
the guy pulled up to me at the light and said , that thing sound awesome is it a v8 , nope 6
he was like that is so impressive from that big car ,

What muffs you runnin? I had the cheap Summit turbo on mine and after 6 months it looked like someone stuck a stick of TNT in it, blown to snot. I went with a Marrimont turbo again from Summit. They sent me a 2 1/2" in & out so I'm runnin 2 1/4 pipe with 2 1/2 muffler. Sounds stock evn at WOT and I'm sure my back pressure is close to zero. I think 2 1/2 is to much on a /. There's tons of info over on /6.org, I lurk more then I post over there, but read stuff everyday, maybe do a search over there? Keep us in the loop on this.

im running the clifford headers to a x pipe and (2 1/4 ) all the way to flow master muffler dual in and 2 1/2
single outlet , it s gotta drone sound at 60 but now with the new tranny with the high stall and lock up i expect it to rev lower and less drone where im cruising at , if not i will add a resonator

I may just try an x-pipe like you have, 67. I think my /6 flows too freely. Though the more economical (read:cheaper) alternative would be to switch out my flowmasters for a more stock-ish (longer) muffler. Im probably not going to be able to dig into it until winter, so I have some time to research it.

Keep in touch, I'm hoping to have it up and driving by then and having fun with it. Wouldn't mind showing it off in person.

Here's a couple more pics I found to share. I will see what else I can dig up and post.
