Think About It

Banana Spiders are super common in FL.

If you walk through the woods, you're probably gonna see one.

It's kind of funny to watch someone who doesn't get out much run into one for the first time.

They are HUGE and the webs are huge and thick.

it's like something from a horror movie.
(even the scream from the victim)
LOL!! We have those too and they too can give a pretty good bite. Been awhile since seeing one and when I do, they are in places that keep me from doing yard work etc so I'll remove the web in hopes they will move but that never happens. They just build right back in the same spot. Kinda what I figured would happen....

Spray the outside of your foundation once a month with a good grade of bug spray. I don't have an insect problem since I started doing this.
I do that too but when it rains here, it's usually pretty hard and washes it away so I'm not real crazy about using insect sprays very often. It isn't something I like to do since I'm pretty close to a major watershed into Galveston Bay.

I had a sister in law who was bitten by a recluse in Montana of all places! Not a southern state spider anymore. When she arrived back home in Maryland she had to go through several skin grafts.

A good friend's daughter, maybe 8-9 years old, got bit by a recluse while sleeping and she barely escaped without any major scarring. She got bit on the shoulder but had bruising and pain all over her chest, and all her arms and legs. Nasty critters!

There natual things that you can use that don't present a danger to the environment. Not as good as dedicated bug sprays, they do need to be applied more often.

I spry the foundation, the corners, the soffit, and the window frames once a year.

Every now and then we see a dead bug in the house but live non-flying ones are rare.

all the bugs and such seem to go in cycles around here. (not mototrcycles lol . I have had to spray my entire acre before. Don`t like to , its hard on the birds, but can`t live w/ over abundance of any bug!

After spending a summer at the dermatologist, biopsies, treatments, etc, for some kind of Arachnid "contact"
This is my thoughtScreenshot_20180109-080606.jpg
