headlights are also farther inboard on 66.

Mine is a 67 and if i cant find a decent pass. side surround I am going to install the 66 set up I have on a shelf until I find one. The 67 as mentioned has headlights that set further out and use a separate headlight bucket setup. The 66 bucket are tack welded to the core support the 67 come in a separate bracket that screws into the lower support behind the top of the bumper. The 67 also uses a different cross bar and hood trim than a 66. You will also need to have a 67 bumper or other custom provisions for blinkers.

Here is a pic. There is a cross bar that goes along the bottom of the grill and behind the bumper. these screw into that and the upper support .

That looks awesome im not afraid to customize im seeing your not either lol
No.....not at all. lol. What I did was I swept the fender noses back to 90 degree angles and replaced the Coronet lower grill mounting bar with a 67 Charger one so the bolt holes would be there for the flip headlight frames. That picture is the final mock up to make sure I had it where I wanted it.

Hardest thing to find is grill surrounds for my grill that aren’t 700 bucks or ill just fab some
Yep, those puppies are not cheap. I'm sold mine but they don't show up for a decent price often, or if they do they're a mess.
