I have a room booked at the Grand. Still have my room at the Hampton yet, I need to cancel that one. I wonder how safe the parking is going to be at the Grand? I am concerned about the car being there over night, getting broke in to or damaged/vandalized in the lot, not so much about personal safety. Anyone been to the Grand before? I know the Hampton was pretty safe parking for the cars.

Got an email this morning announcing the bands. yellow Brick Road on Friday , Saturday is gonna cost you $15, not free this time! Cars will be displayed at the Venue on Friday nite. Friday is free. Band on sat is "Las Vegas Orchestra"????????

I emailed back, "unclear where cars will be parked?" In the past, cars in courtyard at the Cannery were seen only by registered participants and the concert was free. I dont like the changes. Less controlled and more traffic to get in. The Craig Road location was not perfect, but looking better now. Bands were great and free.

Looking on Google maps, 3rd street and E Carson Ave, has the concert area called DLV right on the corner. It's on the other side of Fremont St from the host hotel Downtown Grand. I would guess the quarter mile of (now) Muscle cars will be set up on 3rd street by the DLV. Just my guess.

Looks like a pia from the track. Check the convenience of E Craig Road. Email question came back undeliverable. That's 21 minutes on a Sunday at 4 am.

Every year the guy that does their web makes changes.This opens a whole can of worms.They are trying to sort it out. Mailings should start buy the middle of next week.I hear they have new people doing the mailing this year. That's all folks !

Need more clarity from the Painters. Got a call from a non FBBO attendee who won't pay $15 each for a cover band. Don't want to see this event go downhill.

I am staying at the El Cortez, 2 blocks from the Grand. Great old Vegas vibe, huge rooms, sitting area, fridge, microwave, free wi-fi, free parking. It's safe, we stay there everytime we go to Vegas.

We have tons of freeway construction going on so from downtown it is going to be a pia
