the Wife DESTROYS the kitchen.....

I have to laugh. My wife is so OCD with the kitchen that we have this soft soap BS dispenser on the counter. If i use it, she will put it back in the exact location and the flowers on the label must face outwards. I turn it around to annoy her all the time. There is zero clutter, nothing out of place except in my garage, LOL

Sounds like a sensible woman to me.

Kitchen......Does the bathroom look like this ?

My wife is a ... Well, a....SLOB.
I love her, I tolerate the mess but.... son of a bitch it annoys me! I used to have a clean house. No dust buildup, no clutter, clean carpets too. The Wife sees ANY flat surface as a place to stack multiple things. When she cooks, dishes are everywhere, multiple spoons, pans, etc.
Now, having said that, she is also the best woman that I have ever known. Smart, understanding, supportive, funny, just a great lady and a fantastic companion. I am actually quite fortunate that THIS is her flaw.

I'd rather clean up household messes than to worry about cheating, spending all the money, drug or alcohol problems, ex husbands, etc.
We rarely have moments like this.....

Kern, listen carefully, you'll thank me. Does your wife have a job? If she works, hire a cleaning lady, you know one of those illegals you and your pals like to bitch about,LOL... Get references of course. For one day a week or even once every two weeks its worth it and you'll be a happier man.
We have this Polish girl who has worked for us for around 15 years now. She is 100% trustworthy and dont get in her way when she is working. We got her when my wife was working full time plus P/T two and three nights a week. Then my wife got sick and this lady was a huge help. To this day we'd be screwed without her as my wife is not able to do the heavy cleaning. She only comes twice a month but its worth it. My house is alway immaculate, never any clutter and the only area that gets a little messy is my basement cave were i dwell.

wow! we have EXACTLY the same situation! especially the flat surface thing!!!!!!

Kern...…… what does the stove top look like? that is the thing I CAN NOT tolerate! so I clean it myself...….. I do the entire kitchen about once a month, I do get rewarded for it :D

My "deal" with the wife is whom ever cooks, the other one cleans. I do NOT like to cook so I usually clean. What aggravates me is I can get the entire dinner "mess" cleaned up and be back to whatever I was doing in about 10-15 minutes. The problem is she will take an hour to fin isn eating so her plate and any leftovers are always something I have to come back to. I finally told her she gets to package any leftovers and clean whatever remains. It seems to work and has been that way for some time. It always amazes me how something I can get done in 20-30 minutes will take her sometimes an entire day to get through, too easily distracted -"squirrel"!

My father would call us pussy wiped. He got home at around three thirty every day, took his bath, read the paper, watched TV. My mother got off the express bus close to six. My father wouldn't even put a pot of water on the stove to make some macaroni. Clean the kitchen? I dont think so. A few years after both of them had passed, my aunt, his sister clued me in on a few facts and it seems although my father didn't lift a finger, he was in fact told what to do and when to do it
I also cant stand a dirty stove, i buy windex by the gallon and i should have stock in Scotts, i use so much paper towels LOL!!!

that's a bad deal...… I can cook better with minimum mess...…… but like I said earlier, I have learned to tread carefully

Then dont complain.Nobody has it perfect in life. Your a nice looking couple, your wife is a beautiful lady, enjoy yourselves. I humored you yesterday, today you get told like it is. Its my mood swing.
As nice a guy as you are, when i hear this **** i get annoyed. You praise her but post on the internet and say she is a slob. Clean it up yourself, it bothers you, clean the kitchen yourself
Im not complaining because i took my wedding vows seriously, for better or worse, in sickness and health. Ive waiting on my wife hand and foot for the last 8 years. Im not a hero, dont want no medals, its life, whatever comes your way and if it were me, she'd do the same.
But this may sound fucked up or whatever but when i see a guy who has a healthy wife, a pretty wife whose only thing is, she is somewhat unorganized, not that she is dirty or a slob in the true sense of the word and he is complaining about some nonsense, i want to ripe that guy a new asshole
You have any idea about how many guys just right here who lost there wives, or wives are ill and would trade places with you in a second as far as having there wife back or healthy and not complain?
So ok i know you love her as you say and all those other nice comments but your thread is something best kept to yourself and id bet if she ever saw it, her foot would be up your *** and rightfully so. End of story, now go buy her some flowers.

Have you tried to educate her on why your way is better than her way?

I was literally LOLing when I read this. I have the same situation with my wife in our bathroom. We have double sinks and individual soap dispensers. I like mine pushed back against the backsplash so I don't hit the handle turning on the hot water. She needs it exactly lined up with hers and the cups, etc. So it's a daily battle, i move it back, she moves it forward. I thought after a while she would relent. HAHAHAHAHA, she's from Brooklyn !!!!!!
