If there are metal chunks check your spider gears very closely! Look for any chips or missing piecesgoo0d new all apart,bad news no adjuster clip and metal chunks.

Oh ok I must have missed that LOL.. make sure you look through the entire housing with a flashlight those chunks tend to go everywhere!

is on right axle near bearing or am I misreading.

Oh well if you go to green bearings you don't need a thrust spacer or that adjuster...that will come off and be replaced by the flange on the new bearing. (I recently took some axles in to have greens installed, paid $150.. as I'm not equipped nor motivated to do that switch at home)

From the shop that did the labor, I use them for all my major rear end work..they charged me like $80 or so for the parts. Take a look at Dr.Diff's website, he sells them and has lots of good info as well
