Put a new engine harness on the 69 Bee. And I got rid of some wires that were no longer needed. Now I am thinking I may have got rid of the tach wire. Does anyone know what color the wire is that goes from the tach to the coil. Car is a 69 Bee with tic tock tack. Thank You

I believe the tach wire goes through the firewall separately from the bulkhead. If you're looking at the firewall the hole should be just to the right of the bulkhead.

The tack wire to the coil for 69 is a separate wire from the engine harness. It is grey with a black tracer....That connects to the tach wire with plug through the firewall which is grey and a red tracer.

You have 1 wire and 1 harness for a factory tach setup......

The difference is on the dash side a rallye and a non rallye each use a different harness with the same firewall plug and grey red tracer wire.....

Details, details......

Yes it is a ralley dash. I know it isn't on the engine harness. Think I got rid of the wire by mistake. But the other half should be on the dash side still. I haven't got under the dash yet. The car has a/c so under the dash it tight.

I would think it is.....especially if you have the plug with wire through the firewall....

Give Mega Parts a call.....Jaime can get one to you quick at a good price and cheap shipping cost.....

fyi- On my 70 tick-tock car, my tracer colors weren't visible anymore & when I installed a new dash harness it didn't have the tach wire. "IF" I remember correctly, the aftermarket fuse block did not have the very end fuse holder connections or something like that & I "think" that circuit feeds the stock tach.... don't hold me to any of this, it was YEARS ago.
