I was living in a van down by the fairgrounds!

I took my 75 Dodge van to Carlisle this weekend, and camped in it. It was a blast. My wife wanted me to take it there to sell it, because she hates it! She calls it a perv van! Lol, I am keeping it. It has 70s wood grain paneling, and a diamond tuck headliner, its just too cool! What a great weekend it was,I hope everyone else enjoyed the show too.

Nothing wrong with camping out in the van. A group from here stays on the fairgrounds and has a blast. We camped at the campgrounds over by K mart. Nice place, inexpensive, and fun. Inflate a mattress and sleep comfortably in the car trailer. The owner had a portable A/C unit that would freeze you out. We had breakfast on the grill as well as Rib eye sandwiches and pulled pork for supper. Clean showers too. The showers at the show are pretty nice as well.

I had 5 of them. Still miss my last one, only had 105,000 on it. No rust, no dents. Just needed a larger van, so I bought a promaster. Gotta say, it’s much easier to work out of.

I had a '74 Dodge Van. It was a old Telephone work van. SWB slant 6. Great little van, bought it in the 80's had a bed in it. Good Times for sure.
