Hi is it possible to use a supercharger with a 6 pack set up? I've never seen one before and would like to know if it's an Avenue I can go down. I see with the superchargers they need a blow through carby, can the 6 packs be modified to that?

Thanks

It could be done, you would have to make an adapter plate to sit on top of the super charger.
Similar to this just for six pack.

Cool idea, big money. Wait for Holley to come out with their Sniper EFI 3x2 setup, they've already initiated a trademark application last year.

There are a couple of 3 x 2bbl systems out now.
I don't know if either could be modded/adapted for a blower.
Here's a 3 page thread on the FiTech:

And this one uses direct port injection:

I'm still waiting on paul for the 3x2 fitech unit should be in any day he wants to take to sema in vegas for a display, since my work load has doubled with the new projects I have taken on, my charger is on hold right now anyway. so mine will be heading to vegas.

Thanks Don S.
Paul was the guy I referenced in that thread, right?
I'm telling you, if that system would have been available a week earlier, I would likely have gone that route instead of spending close to $1k with Promax.
Here is the parts list from Promax.
Basically everything they make for the Holley 6 bbl system.

Once labor and dyno mule time is added, I will be at/past $1,000.
Now almost EVERY post or review I have read on Promax modded 6 bbl Mopar setups has been outstanding, and although I believe I will reap some benefits to my cammed up 440, I am certain that the stroker motor will require the mods and tuning capabilities that have been added.
With 2 weeks to go until Crusin the Coast, I hope Promax ships soon! Should be this week....

yes, thanks, paul seems to be pretty decent guy, waited a long time for this unit though, I hope I get good results motor should be somewhere north of 550 h.p.

I would have gone through him to get the FiTech. As much as I love the F&B system, and its far greater flexibility and upper level performance capabilities than the FiTech, but at over $4,000 for the F&B setup by the time you add in a controller system, the FiTech system is going to meet the needs of the vast majority of 3 x 2bbl applications at appx half the cost.

They could be adapted for a roots, not sure about blow through.Depending what your building you might need more than 2000cfm to feed the animal!

a 6pck atop a blower would be a all three carbs at once or would need progressive mechanical linkage like i did on the 6pck . did a a set of ford tri holleys on a 383 . those carbs are non vac style . so i did a progressive linkage much like this on those .

I would like to do that but that will pop out the bonnet to much for our laws here in QLD. If I do take this road it would have to be the centrifugal charger.

Since my car is a V-code, it will always have 3 x 2bbl carbs or 3 x 2bbl throttle bodies atop it.
Nitrous Oxide is the logical power adder IMO.

This is the mechanical and performance work of art by F&B.
Costs around $2,600 (may be less with you supplying the 6bbl intake manifold) and then you have to add a control system to it.
