So after 2 years getting the chance to continue my abandoned project & wanting to know which restoration guide out there is good that would have all the measurements for body/frame etc?

Putting up the frame rails which is pretty much done now mocking up the front end..inner fenders-shock tower-rad support etc..

Found this on amazon, wondering if it’ll be good?

There are no good step by step guide.....

The Service Manual has everything you need including measurements.......

As Justin stated, the service manual is the best place to start. After that, the manuals that Byron Fettig and David Wise put out will help you identify the various components and assemblies for a restoration of this magnitude. The manuals are expensive, so expect to spend a couple hundred of dollars for them.

Like any publication, you will find inaccuracies, with any and all of them. But for the most part, the pretty picture type of publications are full of errors and I would avoid them completely. Purchase the more technical publications and you will be headed in the right direction.

Asking questions here and filtering out the preconceived ideals will be a huge asset as well. Take your time and with the reproduction metal pieces expect to have some additional tweaking to reach the desired outcome.

This may help. It is for a 68 charger/coronet but should be the same for 70. Use it on level floor.

How about 6 inches?, above your post... Can you not read the numbers?. Copy, paste to desktop and click on the magnifying glass.

I’m clicking on it and it’s not opening and when I try to zoom it’s blurry.

I’ll try from a desktop I guess

Ok so the numbers I need aren’t on that.. Please check the red mark I made.

I need from the tip of the front rail to the other end (guage hole)

The problem I have is that the current rear rail guage hole is patched up/closed (previous owner). So I’m not able to measure

That’s why trying to get some additional measurements
