Like a lot of fellow members, could write an entire book on the resto journey. Tinkering for years and years on my '63 Plymouth, then decided two years ago to let work be done (motor rebuild, body work) so I wouldn't keep tinkering my life away on my car before I drop before my car would be pretty much as I wanted it. Regrets with some work done causing me hours of redoing, and happy with other work done. Lot's of money and time. Still not done, finding more **** to do and working on it now over winter. Like never quite satisfied. Then what? Will I get close to the amount of cash dropped if I'd sell? Nada. It's like creating your own personal dream and can say you did it. Two major car resto's in my life and that's enough. Time for cruising.
