If you do distributor work, gotta have one

Hey have any parts or books? Always looking have a ton of sun machines.

i had tried to get my slant six electronic distributor to work on that machine from another muscle car shop and the guy said he couldn't get it to work
he tried another pick up and he said it would nt work , bizarre , i have another distributor that i plane to modify and try it
but I'm going to ask if he will let me do it my self , ever had any issues
or advice why it didn't work?

I have 5 dist machines. I rebuild Distributors on the side just MOPARS. Did he have a box (amplifier) hooked up to it? If he just hooked the wires up it will not work.

he hooked up to a gm hei module . I don't remember f I gave him the too
I will ask again im recurving a new distributor that I have bough for 50$ that was a DC conversion kit from fork lift place

GM hei module works great. Hook the red lead to the 12v in pin and the black to the neg and just use a pigtail to the distributor. The plate on the back of the module has to be grounded to the black lead also. Just like in the car but no external battery.

when I go

Easy to do just look up a diagram like on a Mopar. I have seen guys use mopar ECU's also. Not a big fan of them though with all the problems can give you a weird reading if it stars going out.

thanks ,when i get around to it , i let you know. I'm just overwhelmed at the shop right . i have way to much work . so clients cars come first
my B body comes after
