Installing an Edelbrock PRO- FLO 4 XT on a 440 (Lets open the Box)

The port F.I. should be superior to the T.B.I., But the tall ram manifold makes it undesireable for
those that want a more stock look. I have to wonder how this system measures up against the
Sniper E.F.I. with it being a self-learning system? I know I'm asking all of the wrong questions
here, but I'm trying to decide on a system for my car.

Yes, they have a Single manifold version too..

The thing that got me was, Sequential.. So each cylinder sprays fuel when needed, not metered dumping that a throttle body system or carburetor does. But if you wanted to look stock, Sniper all day long with the Dual Sync Distributor to give you full spark control.

Considering selling my brand new Indy MW top end and switching to standard port heads so I can use this system

I would go with the TF240 or Edelbrock Heads and this set-up..

Now if we can get some variable valve timing we'll have it all!

Started the Install.

Notes so far..
1) Fuel inlet on wrong side.
2) Coil placement?
3) Air Filter?

Looking good!
I bought the 440 Source valley cover and I plan to fab out a coil bracket that mounts to that, putting the coil longitudinally under the plenum of the intake. If that doesn't work, I'll mount the coil on the inner fender and extend the coil wires to reach.
I figure a simple right angle 90mm charge tube from Spectre or similar will work for air filter. A quick search through Summit and Jegs showed lots of possibilities. If not the shop guys and I will come up with something.
BTW is that an SD Concepts serpentine kit?

Gotta keep the coil and it's noise away from the Injector harness.
Yes, it is the SD Concepts.

Valaya put mine forward passenger side next to the tired old MSD Box.

Got my coolant sensor and throttle cable and did a little work last night. Forgot pictures. Paining over making a hole in firewall for the harness so I can mount the ECU under the console.

Check this. Chevrolet install 67 Camaro. Note ECU and Coil placement.

Just an Update.. Progress has slowed as my Dad has fallen Ill.. I am spending any tiny bit of free time on this, so please be patient.
