Trying to figure out a better solution for #7. This just is not right.

The big block guys sometimes go over the intake manifold, around the back of the head, go under the header tube, use a 90° boot. I have no idea if that will work on a small block.

Headers are great, but sometimes they are a pain in the ***.
Sometimes? Lol there were a few bolts that were tricky to get right. I had to fix those as the “mechanic” bubba’d it up real good.

Yeah there are two tubes (an over and under) that makes that type of routing tricky too but I am looking at that as well.

That's why i'm using the hp manifolds whenever i get my 383 big block. I just don't feel like f ing with headers.

F ing can be fun though and very satisfying when done :)

Get the Accel ceramic boot plug wires. I did for my big block, best money I spent on plug wires.

Not as pretty, but works for me.

What brand headers are those? I have TTI's on a small and big block and don't have any issues like that. Can you route it down towards the inner fender instead of going up? I also use the Accell ceramic ends.

Driver side of my small block with TTI's. Plenty of room.

Header manufacturers that do NOT test fit before putting their stuff in production need a kick to the dick. How hard would it have been to provide a flat spot along the inside edge of the # 5 and 7 plug wire path? Really? It would NOT hurt the flow or performance to flatten it 1/2". Looks like it is up to YOU to do that, huh?
