That's dirty! The 8s are made deliberately to look like the are right side up, and they look upside down when the pic is turned.

Also there's another solution to this puzzle , if you count the spaces in front of the car and also in a parking lot with floors you get 87

I know the answer just how is a parking place, think about it in 3 d ... that's the trick,

I like your twist. -Every piece of data is in the question- (and should) have a value. --Now I need to learn how parking garage spaces are numbered in multi-levels.
Admittedly an understanding of parking place numbering logic can be used. --But is there a -standard -of numbering parking spaces to follow from one level to another in all parking structures?

I have always liked this kind of stuff and tend to solve a Sudoku puzzle.

1+4 = 5
2+5 = 12
3+6 = 21
8+11 = ?

1+4 = 5
5 PLUS 2+5 = 12
12 PLUS 3+6 = 21
21 PLUS 8+11 = 40

Okay, having never played Sudoku, I can see how this works but I was first looking at the math in LITERAL terms. In that context, it made no sense.

It is indeed a puzzle. In Sudoku numbers are not used mathematically. Just sequentially.
Letters can be used instead but only the first ten letters would work for the sudoku structure.

I am just wired in a different way. I take things literally.
That is why I crack up when I hear someone say "I'm going to take a ****". I think of a guy in a Porta Potty stealing turds.
When meeting people, some say How are you ? or How're you doing?
I actually answer the question and it confuses some people.
If someone says a job will take two weeks, I expect it done in 14 days.
This coffee tastes like **** ! Does it really?
