Well, if I was there, I wouldn't have to stop by, right?? Oh wait, you mean stop by your pit area? Oh, ok. :D Good luck!!

Judging from the ratio of likes vs the number of "I'll see you there " responses, it looks like most of us either have to work or have honey-do lists today. You're making some jealous SOB's. Have a great time. :steering: :moparsmiley::usflag::thumbsup:

t That being said 5 passes in for the weekend in the hot humid air with a DA over 2000. Saturday my 1st pass was through the exhaust and 10.16 with exhaust out the back bumper with 4 lbs of boost.Uncapped the dumps and it went 10 oh something on the lean side.So I upped 2 jet sizes and gave it 2 more lbs and it went 9.9.
Sunday morn 1st pass was 9.7,2nd was 9.6,3rd was 9.8 and last was 9.6 with 10 lbs of boost:moparsmiley: No matter what I did it would only go 140 mph.Moved the timing around a little with no improvement.

Some might be able to see this>>>>>>>>

What I especially like about your car is that you DRIVE IT and race it!
I hope I wind up somewhere in the 10s, and I say that because of the cars I see run at my local track that one day I want to see in my rearview mirror!

Trying to get quicker can be a frustrating experience. One of the things that helps me is a spread sheet using a bunch of time slips. Then do the math between 60-330, 330-660, 660-1000, 1000-1320. All laid in row on a chart can help pinpoint where some runs are better/worse than others. I also compare to NHRA stockers and S/S cars. You can find everyone's progressive times from points meets and National events under results. I look for cars with similar ETs.

My first challenge to overcome are 60 ft. times in the low to mid 2.xx range. At 106 mph I know I have a "12 second car", but at 13.30, the difference between 2.3 and 1.6 seconds 60ft puts me where I should be. I have a line lock I bought a year ago or more, and I need to install it. I'm pretty sure my stock leaf springs are worn because I bent the bracket on Mancini's best pinion snubber from wrapping up the rear end so much, and I have ideas on how to launch the clutch better.
Anyway I don't want to hijack.
RACE ON BROTHERS!

Was the 9.6@ 140 the best with the car so far?

At LVR it went 9.3 @ 146 or 147 through the exhaust. I felt I should have gone at least 8.99 but I will have to wait till fall for the good mineshaft air.
The intake air temp was as high as 185:(,,,,,maybe I need some kinda intercooler:realcrazy:
