‘67 Hemi GTX value

The 67 GTX is not as desirable as some of the other Hemi cars, so the price may be a little lower, but certainly not cheap.
Desirability is an opinion, I have 3 67 Hemi GTX'S. I will take a 67 over a 68-69 any day. If I wanted another in a different year it would be a 70-71. It costs the same to restore no matter what year. You can possibly save a few bucks on purchase of a project.

That's a $2500 or better parts car, I say it's a decent deal. If you purchase and don't need those seats with the headrests I could be a buyer.

I was not meaning that as a insult, or putting down the 67, I was only stating my opinion based on what Hemi cars sell for. I personally prefer the 71.

That’s not a parts car. Turquoise with white interior console 383 Satellite. Neat car.

Have you priced Hemi parts?

It’s worth a closer look this weekend
If you pass let me know why? I don't want to steal anyone's deal, but I would have an interest, especially if the Hemi car is a 4-speed.

Wow - two rare colors....agree for both it would be a deal - the parts car looks to nice to part out. Have some 66/67 batch panels I will have for sale soon.

Hurts me to see rare cars in the weeds. Hope you're going to go look and make a decision this weekend. Best of luck!

Some pics would be helpful to estimate a value. The value will also be determined by how bad someone wants it. Needing an engine, trans and total resto, you're looking at $50,000 on the low side.

Might need to ask for the opinion of @skyman51 what it could be worth when fully restored.

skyman51 here. Unfortunately 67 Hemi GTX are down in value. Only 720 were made but for what ever reason prices have nose dived. My car is a trailer queen, with docs and almost all; original parts including the drive train I have owned it twice, this time for eight years. From what I have seen it is probably worth 40K less than I paid for it. I did not buy it to flip. I think it is all about the pride in what I have. Don't even consider a correct restoration! It will break the bank.

Good advice - might just get it and tuck it away for a few years .

Where did you get the 720 number? This seems to never be the same. I can't seem to copy a link I found that says total Street Hemi production in 67 was 1282. I think this covers Dodge and Plymouth. You also had 55 RO, and 55 WO cars which were Race Hemi's.

I'm not saying anyone is wrong, I'm just looking at different sites that have numbers.

At 12k for those two, I wouldn't be thinking about. They would be home by now. I just paid $90k all in for my Hemi. No way I could build the car for that.

And my car might be a 900 point car on a good day. I spend my time spraying Pam on the wheel houses so the rubber don't stick. It is my pile that I bought because I could finally afford it. And it is a hell of alot of fun.
