Looks good! Are all Coronets green? Been a fan of yours since the blue GTX! This will be my first car to take to a drag strip. Gary of Magnum Superchargers built my engine and is doing the chassis work. He’s an old school Drag Racer. Going to be asking a lot of questions here as well! Plan to have running by January. I’m hoping for 10s.

You did your frame like I did, breaking through the rear seat footwell, much stronger I think. Are you doing just roll bar or cage? If you do an "A" pillar tube I'd like to see how you go through the dash. Nice work!

Lol
Yes, all Coronets are green...

I had one of the super rare brown ones.

Gary is an Old school drag racer, he’s done the US Car Tool connectors but I wanted him to do it the way he did back when he built his cars. We are just doing a roll bar.

New parts for the front! Taking to get under side media blasted when roll bar done!

Makes me happy seeing someone else using QA1 K-member.
Solidifies my decision.

it’s probably over kill, but they are made 10 miles from my house in Lakeville Mn. And I was in a Moter Trend focus group with a guy that worked there. Plus more room for headers. I want to run ‘stock suspension’ big block, no power adders at drag week but I think the mini tubs are not allowed in that class anymore. Have to check this years rules.

Was 3 degrees when I took these. Car is going to have underneath media blasted, then we will paint everything black. The engine bay will get smoothed and painted F3 green. Then it’s assembly time.

I've seen your youtube videos but had not seen your name pop up here on B Bodies. I always thought you lived up in Maple Grove. I'm in Nisswa just north of BIR. Close enough to drive there open headers and slicks for wednesday night racing.

I live in Savage just S of Minneapolis. Car is at Magnum Superchargers north of the cities. Gary Hedden a 75 year old Drag racer built my engine and did the chassis mods on this car. I have a lot to learn, never raced on a track before. Hopefully we will cross paths this Summer!

-6 degrees...needed some pics to get me by. I’m diggin’ the ‘70s high-boy stance. Also just rented a garage space for this project. Gotta get this heap hauled over there start cleaning the underside and get it painted up so I can install the Go-Fast parts.
