i normally dont post about my cars, esp the sales end...
however, today i had the chance to make someone really Happy.
i sold a fella Back his car that he sold more than 30 years ago...
yes,thats right..
i posted the car here on the marketplace and,
this fella pmed me with a extremely faded pic of this car way back in the days.

at that point,it was gonna be a Karma deal.
i could sell the car for more money, because my pm-s were already blowing up,
or take what this guy had and make him happy.
as per usual,i opted for the happy part.

one of the Best parts,
was the look on his face as i said to him,you wont be needing a bill of sale for this car.
then i handed him the reggie Still in his name !!
30 plus years later and at least 2 other owners,
this poor car sat in barns waiting..and waiting..
for its true owner to finally reclaim her.
thats what its all about for me,the cars, the stories and the happy peoples.

without further ado,i present the 1948 chevy fleetmaster coupe of my new friend John.

I am the same way! It isn't always about the money. God Bless you! There is one out there (I Hope it still out there) that I would love to have back.

Awesome!!! I completely agree, money isn't everything it was the right thing to do... The car is going home...

Way to go Russ! I sold a 68 Satellite convertible to a fellow member, because,he said he would restore the car verses parting it out! Even though I got less money for the car! Sometimes its about the car! CARMA POLICE arrest this man........
