Thanks, .. just thought I should check so I know what else to look for that's probably missing from this 'vert!

At least I have an Air Grabber box... :D.. and a cleaner assembly. Real question is.. is the hood correct to the car!?

There is no reason why it wouldn't be correct........the only exception are the screens......There is NO hole in the firewall for the "carb air" cable...

For corrections Wayne your thread is ONLY about 1969 right? Thats what the title states:D

Just a dream at this point, to replace the wife's 'vert I sold on her 2 years ago.

Other than simple things to change to make the bay more correct.....It looks nice in the pic you provided...

might as well build another, you probably have a complete car in parts, just need some license plates!:luvplace:

If it is a factory N96 car, then someone has swapped out the three speed wiper motor with a two speed unit.

Thanks Richard, something I should have seen right off the bat. What stuck out was seeing sky through the "grills" when I would have thought they'd be shut for a non air grabber unit. I need to go see it... it's a few hours away.

I bet its not black and doesnt have AC with the N96 option...lol....

i had to change the wiper motor from a two speed to a three speed motor . now i have to install the three speed switch not looking forward to doing that

Shouldn't be a big deal. Two screws and the wires are there in the dash harness.

The big question is ....what condition is it in?
  • N.O.S.
  • Original unmolested
  • Transplanted from an original N96 car
  • Recreated from a stock flat non-N96 hood
  • New reproduction unit sold in a factory looking package as N.O.S. (but not really N.O.S.)
  • Second-hand painted up to look original
  • Average 20-footer daily driver quality

You may select one of the above. :poke:

:D

LOL Roger.. I know V21's not on the fender tag so the outer black treatment isn't "OE".. as for the hood I'm not versed in '69 Road Runners as to what would have come stock on a Vert. Do you know the "truth" in it before I go for a day long drive??!!
