So original colors on my car were yellow, green stripe, with S6D interior with was white buckets with green carpeting, dash, headliner and also green painted upper interior panels.

I'm debating trying to keep original interior colors. I plan on painting the exterior a brighter / modern yellow, but the interior....IDK yet. Does anyone have a pix of a yellow car with the white-green interior? I'd sure like to see one.

Meanwhile, my plan A (or B) is to do a black interior.

Do it and don't look back. That's a seriously funky color combo that typifies the era. When people start bitchin' (and some will) you can say hey it's a 60s car for cryin' out loud!:)

Man, that would be pretty unusual. I tire of black interiors; I like something with a little pop. Stay original IMO.

Tans and grays blend well with many colors also.

Being a WI boy and a packer fan, what harm could there be in a Packer themed GTX ?

That sounds pretty groovy, I'd like to see that!

The interior of my GTX is blue with white seats and door panels. Blue carpets blue headliner blue dash and blue trim panels.
I am also debating changing to black.
Definitely going to change the white to black and the carpets as well as headliner but I think I will leave the dash and trim panels blue.

So you have something like this I presume? I can't tell the color of the carpeting, but if it correct I'm assuming its blue as well.

Why are you looking to get rid of the white / blue?

I feel the black is a more masculine and better looking colour for the car. Originally it had white vinyl top and white interior like your photo yes.
I prefer the black interior over the white.

I have always liked oddball combo's. That is what I liked about my 69' Coronet. It was red with red interior. Not the usual black.

keep the factory color combo - My 68 Charger was originally white with green interior and i hated it at the time - ended up going to black.... now I wish I kept the green just to be different
