Contemplating replacing the crossram & dual Holleys to something more streetable.
So, 4 barrel or inline dual 4's? What carb(s)?

Sorry but I know these well can't run for street too tempramentalthey run like ****? that's a faults statment if you know what you're doing. they can be made to run just fine.
Works well and you can hide inside a cross ramNo one seems to talk about them any more but, the FAST efi 2.0 will support 1200 HP and were one of innovators of these FI conversions.

Some one will always have the opposite answer to everythingI drove mine all over the place with no issues. Worked just fine on the street.
“Sorry but I know these well, most people cannot make these run on the street. They can be temperamental for novice tuners.”
I fixed the above quote..
You did not fix the above quote 99 percent would not be able to get it to work right at best it's a street nightmare for drive ability
Back to the original post, your best bet would be an in-line manifold. If you want to stay with the Holley carbs use the stage V. If you want to switch to small Edelbrocks use the new Edelbrock Inline. The “mopar” single plane for a 4150 is also a good intake. It’s a rebranded Barton. Use that and a 1000CFM 4150. The consensus for most is a HEMI doesn’t look right with 1 carburetor but, sometimes it’s not about looks. The single 4150 would be my choice for ease and best drivability.
I prefer the “dual quad” look on a hemi. If you just want the simplicity of carbs along with a stock style look, the factory intake with a couple of 650AVS2 carbs is a solid way to go. If you need to purchase an air cleaner anyway, you might as well go with the stageV single plane intake. The carbs are spread like the marine intake so you’ll need the correct air cleaner base. You’ve got enough cubes and stroke to make a single plane work well.Contemplating replacing the crossram & dual Holleys to something more streetable.
