At this point the only way to reverse the pollution of our environment is to absolutely ban any and all plastic items. Period. No more convenience crap. Glass or coated cardboard. No more plastic bags. Or paper bags. Use a cloth sack. No more just throwing **** out for a newer model. Anything that you don't want gets taken to a center by you or the trash man for recycling or rehoming. Toxic waste has to be dealt with, regardless of cost. If it cant be made harmless then don't produce it. Stop paving over every damn thing.
Of course all of that will never come to pass in a zillion years because..human nature. Because no money to be made from those practices.

I started recycling yrs ago and now it's nothing but milk jugs,water; no plastic bags of any kind. I smell conspiracy. No real idea for reformulating any of this stuff,and by the way; how big is that plastic puddle out in the central Pacific Ocean?

Plastics can be turned into fuel. This was discovered quite some time ago but since there is no profit to be made, no appetite for its wide use. Make the plastic manufacturers pay into the cost of this kind of recycling. Government needs to act.

These climate change clowns are nothing more than technology pimps. They have sold the latest generation into believing that the sky is falling, because they have billions invested in their new green deal b.s. They cut down oxygen producing trees to put up solar panel farms! They laugh at us from their mansions, private jets and limos,while they use scare tactics to have the masses driving around in little electric cars. They are laughing all the way to the bank! They spend more money and waste more electricity running their gormet ice cream refrigerator than most people spend in a year to heat their homes!
 
I know what bathroom to use,and anyone I see using the wrong one will get my big *** carbon footprint shoved up their backside!
 
I get the pollution problem and it's real. Yes we are filling the whole world with the crap we use once and then throw away, but I stop listening when we find that cow farts are a major factor and or problem that needs to be addressed to stop global warming and or climate change.
 
Mankind is but a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of mother earth. I doubt that we will have much of an effect on the planet when our time is over and the next species takes over.
 
Cockroaches and MoPar sixes...

Still waiting for that observed science.
