after geting my 360 back from the engine builder,they gave me all the fel-pro gaskets to finish off. i am now working on the 90 degree oil filter adapter.now there are 2 to choose from 1 is kind of paper and another is not and is hard.witch one to use.what ya think.

You should find that only one will fit into the recess on the block.
 
If I had a nickle for every time I grabbed the wrong one first... Maybe one day I will run into the motor that uses the larger one. On your application, IIRC, the thinner fiber washer goes on the inner screw/tube between the housing and screw heat, then the cork washer goes on the seal between the block and adapter at the screw attachment point. The larger ring will seal when the screw is tightened and the cork washer compresses.

A little tid-bit for anyone else out there, if you have one that has a small inner circle attached to the larger outer circle with what looks like a peace sign, DON'T use it for the normal application. If you do, the inner ring will contact first, and not let the filter plate contact the outer ring and will leak oil everywhere.

any pic, of what your talking about.
No I do not. I just looked for one online, but couldn't find one. I don't know where the other shop got it, and I have never seen one since, so I am not sure.
