I have a 66 satellite and it does not have power brakes and when I press the brake with the car off, my amp gauge goes down just a bit. Why is this?

this is normal as said above. even with key off there is power for that supply circuit witch the amp gage is live also and dome lights . go to my mopar .com and you can down load a factory service manual.

It will also pulsate when you use your turn signal. Just a heads up! 440'
Tough to see brake lights from driver seat unless your looking for them.

That's not dumb Ben. When I was around your age I tightened the transmission oil pan bolts on my Barracuda to 150 ft/lbs instead of 150 inch/lbs. Stripped about 4 of them before I thought something wasn't right...
Never used a torque wrench before, so I didn't know how much 150ft/lbs was, although I was concerned at the start that it was the max setting...

Ben- if it makes you feel better, I SAW a guy in my auto shop class in HS put a quart of oil in a car...down the dipstick tube. Took him the whole hour. To this day I don't know how he did it, but he did. Never forgot it.

Oh HELL no ya don't....
Looky here. We ALL ask questions in this life that somebody else readily answers with a smirk
on their face....and then we smack our foreheads and go "duh, I knew that...."
If we're blessed with such, we get a loooong lifetime of that sort of thing.
These cars are wonderfully simple to learn on, yet they have all sorts of characteristics that
sometimes border on human, I swear...
All of that is why the cars are so much fun - and the people who also choose them as their hobby/
obsessions are also typically a lot of fun to hang with!
