Anyone a Rum expert?

While in the process of making my garage a usable space, I ripped out a wall and found a full, sealed bottle of rum.
I'm having a hard time finding any information about it.
Any experts here?
I know this is a car forum, so no need to inform me of that...

If it came from Cuba, US stopped imports in the early 60's. Probably 60 or 61. Wouldn't open look for a collector or do an online search.

There was a story on the news last night about a house that had a bunch off booze stuffed in the walls from prohibition era. 75 kinda rules that out. Bottle looks older than 75.

Caribe is no longer Cuban... The family behind the company left Cuba for the Dominican Republic when Castro took over...

I dunno, I was in the Dominican Republic early this year, they seem to be rather proud of their heritage and have a lot of pictures of natives on things.

I don't know Georgian tax history (seems to be a Georgia tax stamp) but other states that charged 20 cents were usually in the 1940s and 1950s for that size bottle.

Any thing that is from cuba is considered contraband.....so you should just leave it with me I can get rid of it for you and alleviate any potential risk of getting yourself in any kind of trouble
