Popped up on my news feed pretty cool, love the 69s. Favs are the B3 Ice Blue Metalic and the Petty blue. The one that stole the show in my opinion was the beat up yellow one, don't know why but I like em when they look "Loved". I'm sure there's a couple here that had their cars there, sorry if I doubled.

This was posted a few days ago here before these two posts but I can’t find the link:lol:

Yeah, I been the double post jackass of the day I guess, called out twice lol.
Sorry boys.

I believe '69 was the finest year in US automotive history. '70 second and '67 3rd. JMO of course.

I put 67 first, 68 second and 70 third. I have personally never found a 69 that I had real interest in. I understand that the 69 RR was car of the year and great for Mopar. Just my opinion.

I believe '69 the nicest looking of GTX/RR. Chevy and Ford had some serious contenders in '69.

In the other brands, I liked the 67 Chevelle, first generation Camaro, 69 Mach I Mustang, 66-67 442's, and for 69 the Corvette. I owned a 69 Corvette, but have never owned one of the others I listed, but have had friends that did.

I too like the '67 Chevelle. And GTO. And of course the '67 vette is the pinnacle. Fords? Not so much. There is a reason they call the '69 Boss 429 Mustang "The Boss." I Believe the nicest Mustang ever built. Including Shelby. But Ford guys are different. Shelby is their God.

The Boss Mustangs are pretty cool looking. I've never got the whole Shelby thing, but then I am not a Ford guy and after owning one of their junk Expeditions I'll definitely never be a Ford guy. Big GTO fan though, I'm thinking of getting a 67 or 69.

I had a '66 GTO decades ago in high school. 389 4 speed. Won my share of races. Parted it out when engine had enough of my beatings. One of thoughs cars I wished I still had. Coolest car I've owned until my first '69 GTX. I like the 67 GTO look just a little better than '66. I never got into Ford either. My pals were all Chevy guys. And I'm the lone Mopar guy. And if you think they bash Mopar? Wait until you hear them about Fords. Holy ****. Its like one came over and kicked there dog!

Neat video, thanks for posting. I was lucky and got to see the display in person.

Funny, a 66 GTO was my High school car too. It had a later model 400 swapped in and a auto 400 trans. Painted it red for $1200, definitely was the coolest car in school. This was early 80s when kids still cruised main street on Friday/Saturday night.

Honestly, I bought my car 14 years ago, haven't done ****, wife spends my money. But I bought my 73 to sell so I could get a 65-67 Belvedere or gonna sound weird a 71-72 Sattelite. I'm broke so RR or GTX is not possible. But like I said I like "used", pretty isn't my thing. Almost bought a 69, Dart/383 ex drag last year, couldn't do it, felt wrong. Kinda want finish mine. I was gonna use some some of my 401k for that car, now I have a pension and a 401k its firm and the wife cant touch that lol. So hopefully some day I'd like to have a backroad tire burning car, like the Dart, but a Plymouth B/A, 383, reverse 727. Dont wanna be scared to scratch it type.
