need photos if posible of what the lingkage and kickdown lok like on a 62 dodge wirh dual 4 manifold thanks

Classic Industries shows a 2 X 4 inline carb throttle bracket in their latest catalogue. MN 3119; $40. They also have a 300 H inline bracket set; MN 3120; $93. I wish this stuff was available when I put 2 X 4 in my car. I think I had to shorten my kick down rod by cutting a piece out behind threaded section and rewelding it.
Their order line is 800-845-1280.

Have a friend who just removed his 2x4 manifold and carbs, from his 62 Dart.
Original set of carbs he is thinking about selling, any interest.
thanks but im doing a 383 build i copied from an old mopar performance tech article

I put 2 X 4 in a 426 Street Wedge. The motor had later '452' heads and Mopar Performance cam; around 280 duration and .480 lift. The carbs were small AFB's from factory set-up on 1962 Chrysler 300H. I think they were only about 500 cfm. each. Since Chrysler used mechanical throttle linkage instead of cable on Dodge, I had to change throttle lever on primary carb. To make these things work, I had to jet them way up. I just ran across my final specs today, and thought I would share. Both carbs had .089" front jets with .052" /. 068" metering rods. The rear ( primary) carb had .086" rear jets, while the front carb had . 089" rear jets.

Thanks I have a older manifold and newer Carter carbs I've bookmarked you jet size let how it works

On my 440, 452 heads, Summit 6401 cam, 9.3:1 compression, I used two 1405 600cfm Edelbrocks on the old cast iron two four intake. Had to open up the secondary openings in the manifold to work with the Edelbrocks. I used the Edelbrock linkage. I had it set for progressive at first but the front four cylinders were running way too lean. No matter how I jetted it they were still lean at idle. So I locked the linkage one to one and it was much better. Plugs showed that I could richen it up some so I went with 68x47 rods with orange springs. That really helped. If you're not using the orange accelerator pumps (1467) I highly suggest you use them. Ethanol gas will distort the factory and or the blue ones that come in the rebuild kits in no time.

Thanks I think I have to do the same for me I was going to use the eddy progressive linkage but I got a deal on a 2x4 hemi linkage ill most likely have to make it 1 to 1 also

what kickdown is that one piece and what throttle cable both of mine are for a max wedge

The solid/one piece kickdown rod I modified. That's the crazy bump in it after the threaded section. It was the original one for the 361 with a four bll. I would like to find a factory 413 (RB) rod or better yet a factory 413 2x4 rod. That's the only Raised Block back then that was available.

The throttle cable is the original one for the 361.

Throttle bracket I modified also.
