It’s Snowing! Hurry up – Get your Milk, Bread and Eggs ready!

You have never had to chain an 18 wheeler in the dark during a snow storm freezing your buns off and fingers also. Just let the dam thing sit till the weather changes. Taking the risk of loosing your life and lively hood is not worth it.
I HAVE had to chain up a 5 ton Military wrecker on top of a mountain in West Germany in a near blizzard at night though...does that count?

I was in New Jersey in mid 70's. Snow storm that dumped about 2" of snow. Many drivers not able to cope with it, no idea how to drive. Later I was in Colorado, the snow had started, State Patrol out to enforce the "chain rule". My buddy & stopped, for inspection. Officer says "you boys need chains", we replied "what for just a little snow". "Show me your ID". Showed the Minnesota license & OK you boys can go. The Patrol knew they had too many Californian's and Texan's in for skiing that not really been adjusted to driving in snow.

5 ton military wrecker would that be as in 6x6? If yes it would have been totally different than any 18 wheeler.

Drop the riggers pickup the *** end and drop chains on and set it back down. That is just not possible on an 18 wheeler.
Chains are a PIA no matter the vehicle; especially in the cold&dark!

PANIC!!! All in support of the Globalist Climate Change Narrative. Keep the hype forefront in the worlds consciousness and the money will keep flowing...they have to keep the masses convinced. Masses that are not bright enough to open a damn Farmers Almanac, and look at weather history to see that this is all nothing new. It's just another natural cycle that will also pass in time returning us to more mild weather. THAT isn't a profitable scenario though so hype. hype hype!

Over hyped nonsense.
As a die hard duck hunter I have been complaining about this for years. Supposed to be big storm with wind, you go hunting and nothing. Some of it is over hyped, the rest is just bad forecasting. The weather channel is the worst.

Fishing anyone...

Typical. Its only a joke if your not traveling. Driving and contending with other idiot drivers. Airports have multiple delays, flying conditions are not great with high winds and turbulence.
Family member just landed in Houston, im told it took longer and was a rougher flight.
God Bless the highly skilled pilots and LEO, emergency responders. Salt and wrecker drivers. Bless our over the road truckers. HV and emergency linemen
Many flights are cancelled.
I just heard a plane in Buffalo NY skidded off the runway.
Ive worked in weather conditions like this from 1970 until six years ago, often on the water front and im happy not to have to do it anymore
Stay safe FBBO members

I drove to my work site one Sunday night in my 68 hemi rr. (1980)It was a blizzard that looked like a fast flowing river that formed a hump to my left. (Could not see the road) That hump was the freeway divide and my guide path. I also put cardboard to cover the radiator so I could get some heat in the car. That drive was 185 miles and was just one of many trips like it. Winter get cold. And summers get hot. I got it and get it.
