That's enough of this stinkin' winter - Time to wake up ol' Fred!

looks great. love the car , I've gone so long without a big block that I have to go out and fire her up at least every couple weeks , got pretty mild weather here so I'll rip around the neighborhood just to get my fix,

You sound like you could have narrated for The Dukes of Hazzard.
Great car, great voice, nice presentation.
Having stayed at a Holiday Inn at least once, if Ed would drop his voice a 1/2 octave or so AND sing; he could standin for Johnny Cash!!

Oh man...
I do actually drop my voice a tad for my wife occasionally - she loves it when I do. Hey, I ain't knockin' it.

Sounds and looks great.
Thanks - and I do believe I owe @Cranky a follow up video here this afternoon.
Stay tuned - I hope. :)

Oh man, you don't own me nutin! lol But I do like your car and the sound it makes.....

Oh yeah I do. A promise is a promise and it's uploading as I type this, for better or worse...

@moparedtn your mailbox is full and I'm not talking about the one in front of your house.
Say what? I thought Gold meant no limit on mailbox size??
Sheesh ok ok, I'll go delete some stuff....
EDIT: It says I'm only 12% Full??

@moparedtn Here is my walk around video. I like yours better! I did a driving video too, but YouTube blocked it because I used a song as part of the soundtrack.

Very good sir - but let's see a NEW one, too!
By the way, I'm adding you to the list of FBBO folks with their own YouTube channels over on
that thread as well.
Thanks!

That's sort of what I'm trying to stir up around here....
It's time to see everyone waking up their beasts! By God, if Fred can do it, any of 'em can!
Instant boost to the mood for sure.

Well I'm no videographer or a public speaker by far but here's my video waking up the 'ol girl.

Well done sir! You got me covered on cinematography!

Is that what it's called?

Thanks :)

BTW it was my inbox that was full. It stated that I couldn't send any messages. I too thought Gold didn't have any limits.

Watching that second video again this morning (and yes, cringing a lot), it strikes me that Fred
sure sounds like a Mopar. He's far from fast or anything but boy, when he gets to singing
up in the RPM's a bit, all those old memories get stirred up...

I was having a PM with a member here recently who had asked what cam is in Freds' 440 and
what he might use in his.
After telling him and giving out the usual caveat about how 50 years of cam technology
has certainly produced better profiles and such, I then explained why I stuck with the
purpleshaft 484 in Fred - namely, that the cam sounded Mopar to me.

Other, smarter and more knowledgeable folks than me can explain why old Mopars have their
very distinct cadence to their V-8's; all I know is that I can still spot one coming from a distance
simply by hearing it before seeing it (unless it's been modified a bunch; then it's harder to tell).

Small block Mopars have it too, but the big block engines have that whole vibe in spades and I
simply was missing that Mopar piece in my life the years between leaving the hobby, then returning to it.
It might go all the way back to childhood for me and the family '68 Monaco wagon with a 383,
but that unmistakable rumble/cadence is ingrained in my soul.

You're right and just listening to the starter as it comes to life tells the other half of the story. It's a Mopar! You got a bitchin ride!! Ulli.
