Yea it’s an A body but I think some of you will find this interesting. It’s a real & rare (I’ve only seen one & that was in the 70’s) Dodge Dart Hang 10. It was found in this old junkyard by a friend of mine who works for my channel. Click the link & enjoy as we show you the car.

They did what they could to offset the beak! Neat car, been there a LONG time!

Bob is very prolific and quite entertaining, folks. Check his channel out.

I've only seen a couple in all my years. Anybody know how many were made?

Hang 10's were pretty cool! About 700 made in 74 and the first half of 75 from what I have read.

....I never knew these cars existed. Thanks for sharing that. Its really a neat find. I know the sucker is rusted out, but the drop back seat has to be exceptionally rare and it has it.....

This came up on the Disco Era Cars Group on Facebook a year or so ago & I think it was determined that 1200 were made.

Glad you liked it. Since I posted this two people have reached out to me & told me where two more are at sitting in junkyards. One is local. The other will require a road trip.

My buddy got one out of a garage in Ann Arbor that his buddy was commissioned to tear down. It was in a few of the magazines of the time. I think he paid $160 for it from his buddy, who also got paid to tear the garage down.

IIRC there were models with the fold down back seat that weren't Hang 10 models.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong...and I know you will! :poke:

There's actually one here locally that comes to the Cruise-Ins upon occasion.
It's strictly an appearance ("gingerbread") package, but I knew what it was first time I saw it
and the owner is a friendly guy too, so there's that.

My cousin Ralph had one in 1978. He was like 19 or 20 years old and had been living in San Diego for a year or two. Rode in it in summer of 1979 in between military station assignments...nice car.
