Thought I’d share a few pics of the floor on my 68 GTX. After some minor rust repairs and a lot of cleaning ,prep work I sprayed this tintable bed liner. I was hesitant at first but thought I would give it a shot. The green tint they offered was actually a pretty close match . A couple days later I couldn’t help but to brush up the seams with black 3m 2 part seam sealer. Overall I’m pleased with the results. I’m sure some out there will want to rag on it but I recommend it .

Looks good, Why does the floor need bed liner on it? I’m not picking at your car, I’m wondering why this product needed to go on a classic mopar interior, or anywhere on the car?

why do you reccommed this over using catalyzed auto paint on the floor?

I can take a jab at this as I’ve used it on a Volkswagen. I’ve used it in the wheel wells and underside of floors, friends have used it on interiors. The main benefit I see is it keeps the factory painted look, while providing rust/ chip protection, added durability compared to standard paint, and some sound deadening.

I bought a restored car with it. I really hate it, it .is ruff as sandpaper, it will take your skin right off. I see no good use on the inside of the car. It’s all going to be covered with carpet. I still like to use undercoating that dries and doesn’t stay tacky under the car. You know just like the factory used on these things when new.

I can’t comment on the brand he used, but what I have used, Upol Raptor Liner and SEM Rock-it, does not stay sticky. It is a Catalyzed product that dries to a, in the case of Raptor, rock hard finish and is very durable or in the case of SEM a hard, yet rubber-like coating. When applied with the applicator gun you can make a variety of textures, coarse-smooth none of which are like sandpaper. All of the textures dry pretty smooth the only change being orange peel.

I have a CJ-5 that i put a new body on because the old one just rusted away from under me. i had both the underneath and the interior lined with line-x. it was well worth it.

Very durable I used it inside and bottom of car ....only need a little bit of paint to tint it color of car ....much much cheaper than spraying it with base coat clear coat
