Well looks like it’s never been used. Or anything‘s been broken off just kind of there.Headlight door vacuum switch, why you have one is another question....
Possibly. When I got the car and from what I understand about its history it’s sat in a barn for a long time. It was a totally complete untouched car. I guess maybe at some point the instrument cluster could’ve been switched out. Or when it came down the assembly line maybe someone grabbed that instrument cluster and said, oh well, and just put it in.No doubt the cluster had another life in a Charger.
That's a question that most likely never will be answered. There could be date codes on it that could shed some light. I can tell you this as a fact. Unless this car was a pristine documented car it might be original. Otherwise it most likely had some parts swapping. Back in the mid 70's I did lots of cars that were built with use able parts. These cars were cheaply bought and a lot of times building a car you had two others for parts.Possibly. So do regular headlight switches not have the little arm on them to move the vacuum switch back-and-forth? I thought maybe they were all like that and then if you had the vacuum lights you add another piece on.Remove whole headlight switch and vacuum switch and post it for sale....sure they are worth a few bucks...;)
