I'm on the other side of the country from a friend of mine or I'd lend him my '74 Charger for a music vid shoot. Ratty, nice- I'm not sure it matters. If any of y'all are in the NYC area and want to make a little easy money he has production insurance so no sweating dings or other issues. message me if interested. Thanks!

Edit- looks like he's coming here in a week or two anyway- so disregard- I'm cutting him loose in mine. Thanks everyone for their interest.

It's true you can get the shaft with music vids. That's why you should only do it if there is insurance. Conversely- a friend of mine got a full paint/body job for a little fender bender that happened on a shoot. I figure most guys on here have trailer queens they don't want to monetize, but some of us have driver quality cars, or ratty ones we don't mind risking. Like I said, if he was doing it here he'd have mine. All good! It's not for everybody

Seems to me there are car rental places that rent older/classic cars got a be some in NYC...

Few folks I would let near my stuff and those few know it too. Sorry man but you maybe off to rental joint.

My friend sold his 7000 mile chevette to a movie rental company. Blue 4 door.

Juliette Lewis can be seen driving it in HBO’s “I know this much is true”

I sent him the craigslist post as a joke, he buys it and the s.o.b. made a good buck on it.

All jokes aside I think there is a rental outfit in Yonkers on Tuckahoe Rd near the sprain. They’d probably be a good start.

I wouldn't let you or your friend anywhere near my car. Originally from Jersey 20 minutes from NYC.
cool dude. another way to say that would be to not write anything at all. Shouldn't you be turning a wrench or something? Watching Graveyard Carz reruns? really anything else besides arguing with another Mopar guy on the internet?

yeah that is true- the rates they get are incredible- his alternative was a 4 door Pontiac for like $1000/3 hours. I thought maybe someone on here might like to make somewhere south of that to put in their pocket on a Friday night. All good!

The OP asked who wanted to rent their car, lol.
lol my Charger is pretty gross as of now- I just got it running and on the road after at least 10 years sitting- not sure anyone would want to use it for videos unless they're doing a Mad Max reshoot or something

Oly chit - a grand for 3 hours in an old Pontiac sedan! If my car stayed under my supervision with some ground rules, I might take the the offer for 3 hours of my time. Lemme know when they want to do a shoot in the Milwaukee area...lol.
