Will 11" x 2 1/2" brake drums fit both the 8.75 and Dana 60 rear ends?

I think that I am right, but it's been awhile and I just want to make sure before ordering these from Classic Industries. Part number #2953 listed for 1970 both B/E bodies.

Is there a difference between the years 1966 and 1970s as they only list them for 1970?

Will they interchange between the 8.75 (1966 and later) and the Dana 60 rear ends?

These are for my 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 426 Stage III Max Wedge that I am also working on while I wait for more parts for my 1964 Dodge 440 426 Street Wedge.

The reason that I ask is because I have both the 8.75 (1966 and later years) and Dana 60 rear ends for this car and both have the 11"backing plates.

Just taking a step back before ordering.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I have 11x 2 1/2 drums on the 8-3/4 on my 1967 Charger. The rear end is original to the Charger. You need drums, backing plates, bars and levers, shoes, and a rebuild kit.
I found everything on eBay cheap and pieced together a kit. Looks great.

It's a little hard to get assembled correctly and the instructions suck that come with the rebuild kit.

Note: the self adjuster lever is supposed to be on the SIDE of the self adjuster gear, not below it. That was a mistake I made that I had to go back and fix with a screwdriver.

Everything is done except drums in those pictures, but they just slide right on.

I see in the picture of the brake shoe assembly that you need to tighten the gap on the horse shoe clip that holds the parking brake lever on the right rear side of the brake shoe so that it does not come loose. Check both side of the brake assembly to insure that the gap is tighter. And the overload spring is to be connected on the outside of the adjuster lever.

What I don't know is if the 1970 11 x 2 1/2" brake drum is different than the ones produced from 1966 to 1969 and those produced in 1970?

You are missing the top shoe retaining washer. See the photo in post #3.

Yep and I don't see where the adjusting lever is actually making contact with the star wheel, either.

They are '70 brakes

I recently made a post with my troubles, can anyone tell me if I've got this spring in the right holes? The adjuster lever always covers up seeing exactly where it's going in other photos. I'm trying to make sure before I get back started. I've already assembled & disassembled twice.
