I'm still correct, it has hot water and heats. No different than an electric heater...which also heats its intended medium, not the actual electricity.

Just like every movie or tv show with a train and someone uncouples the last few cars....and everything keeps rolling? In reality, once an air hose is uncoupled and the pressure drops, the braking system goes into emergency.

Trains use air to apply no spring as trucks do
they have an air tank that will apply brakes for a while if system air is lost and when it bleeds down no brakes

I know how train brakes operate, I worked on them for 35 years. If train-line pressure is lost then yes, the brakes apply. If a train comes apart and the hoses separate, the emergency braking system is activated.
