Correct. You know you're tires! They are BFG TA's
Here's what the result was...... I used the Purple cleaner full strength on the letters only, being careful to avoid the wheels. It's pretty strong stuff, and according to the warnings will damage aluminum. Then I cleaned the whole tire with Black Magic Bleche-White tire cleaner. End result was about 80% improvement on the white letters and the tires look like new. I'm happy with the results. Thanks for the help everyone!
Exactly, and I can guarantee if you have the BFG's with the browned out letters, a gallon of Westleys won't clean them up.Yes, but the formula has ben changed, and it's not nearly as strong as it used to be!
Don't laugh, but I still have a bottle from 40 years ago. Ok, you can laugh.Yes, but the formula has ben changed, and it's not nearly as strong as it used to be!
But you don't have defective BFG Radial TA's that can't be cleaned with Wesleys. BFG knows about it and have replaced tires under warranty because of the defect.Wesley's Bleach White best sidewall cleaner on the market. Tires look like new all the time. Been using it for at least 40yrs.
