• We have a say here you can wear the monkey in silk but still a monkey, I know am that monkey, right now am in a church wearing a suit and tie, on a wedding, I have to say I like it, the sensation of wear your best besides a tuxedo is nice.

I used to wear a suit to job interviews.....those days are gone now. Marks & Spencers special .....a bit tight now. It became my lucky suit....every interview I went to, I got the job. Always wore a smart tie for interviews.....cartoon tie for weddings and funerals.

I now work for myself.....make my own luck these days.

I find that todays suits look cheap even if they cost thousands of dollars. At least here in europe.
I like suits, most of the time wearing sport coats combined with dress trousers & shirts.
But i like the stuff from the 60s-90s.

I had a Funeral last week. Took out some formal wear, suitcoat & good pants, shirt, tie & shoes. Ditched them at the last minute.
Went with some decent black jeans, nice sport shirt, & sneakers.
My Prayers for the Passed, are More Important, than My Appearance...

I had a shirt & tie job for 13 years. I still have a crap load of ties in the closet (even a few pricey ones). But since I opened the shop its been few and very far between. Never really minded it per se but ... Any way black jeans, a tommy bahma shirt, an boots as far as it goes now

I love a suit, but I tell the Taylor how I want it to fit. If the Taylor starts telling my I am wrong I leave. I want pants a little longer and the sleeves longer.
