I need to get the flange/pipe that attaches directly to the factory exhaust manifold on a 383. The motor is going in a 1950 Plymouth so I have to make the exhaust system but can't find what the piece is called or who supplies it. Anyone have any info I can use?

I believe you will have to make something custom or a quick visit to the exhaust shop.
There isn't anything that will just fit.

They are called headpipes and yes you certainly need to cut and weld any 68-7x headpipe I would imagine.

Try Accurate Exhaust.

Check out eBay for Mopar Exhaust Manifold Flange. Different sizes are readily available.
