Hello FBBO.

I'm currently in the middle of a 383 build. I purchased a Mopar Purple Cam kit (Duration 292/292, Lift .509/.509) the comes with lifters. I am also going to use 516 heads with enlarged intake/exhaust. I recently purchased Isky 1.5 rockers.

In my mental checklist I realized I didn't have push rods. I called Summit Racing and ordered some pushrods:5/16" diameter and 8.555" length.

Will this combination fit together or do I have to take a step back and try something different?

Thanks in advance

I think those rockers will need a cup end on the pushrod. You will want to get a checking /adjustable pushrod and measure to get the actual length you will need.

I recently did the same basic build on my 383. 294/529 solid cam, zero deck, 516 heads with 2.14/1.81 valves, PRW 1.5 roller rockers. IIRC, the 3/8" Manton oil thru (cup and ball) pushrods I ordered were 8.110".
Yours MAY be a little long. Get an adjustable length pushrod and check to make sure your valve train geometry is acceptable.

Very helpful thank you. Is there an adjustable pushrod you recommend?

I got mine with the roller rocker kit, but there's a hundred different ones out there. As long as it's got a threaded adjuster, you should be good.
