Can anybody tell me how this goes back on. I took pics but not enough (you can never have enough pics). What has me puzzled is the bend in the stalk which prevents it from sitting flush on the booster. Now i coulda sworn at least one nut secured the stalk on the front side (so the wiring would stay secure if the master cyl. was removed) but i don't know for certain. Or maybe the nut(s) were behind it to keep it level? Will the nuts cause the master cyl. to sit cockeyed?

Wouldn’t that bracket go on after the master cylinder?

Not sure what you all mean. Here are pics before it was removed. It's sandwiched between the master cylinder and the booster. I've checked the shop manual and assembly manual and couldn't find any pics or description.

There’s really no way you could put that harness loom bracket between the booster and master
without it creating an alignment issue with the master. If you look at the witness mark on the booster made by the master you can tell it wasn’t between the two. Bolt the master up to the booster and remove the two nuts and put the bracket on reinstall nuts.

appreciate it. i don't know why but i coulda sworn i removed the master cylinder before i removed the loom... but heck that was a few years ago. thanks for the help

We all miss the obvious sometimes... No worries!

Petty Blue, looks like a 71-72 Roadrunner? Cool!!!

i'll be posting my brake pedal bushing question next. probably another simple oversight

It's a 72 Charger SE. 400 4bbl a/t. Pretty clean car.

Very Cool!! Looks like it was super clean to start with... Like we use to find them...

It was. . i got lucky. Was in Denver, got it from the original owner. He took pretty good care of it. All i had to do were some patch panels in the lower quarters and lower portion of the fenders and give it a paint job. Pans were excellent.

As originally assembled, the bracket would go over the outboard master cylinder lock nuts as well, secured with another pair of nuts.

thanks for the added info. i'm pretty sure i have the correct mental picture of what needs done. now if we can just get those warmer temps back
