My kids constantly argue over who is Spridle and who is Chim chim. I 100% expect one of them to hide in the trunk with a slingshot

Welcome from Missouri!!

How did you end up in Hungary?

I work in aviation and took a chance on a new USAF contract out here back in 2009. I've bounced around a bit since then but really missed the small village we lived in. So when an opportunity came for another tour I jumped back on the wagon (Our kids really like it here, small community with a good handful of USAF families in the area).

Welcome from North Florida !!!
Cool car. Loose the hood scoop :D

oh man, that was the first thing to go! I let out the biggest sigh of relief when I popped the hood and found out that thing wasn't functional. The grossest part was when I had it off and saw the Ford part number...

Poor car... :(

Sure is! 3,500,000 Hungarian Forint in all. Just a tad over $10,000.

I know it sounds a bit steep to pay $10k for a car you can 100% Fred Flintstone it in, but I shipped an Alfa GTV6 and a 1966 Impala in a container from here to Tacoma back in 2013. It cost me $8600, door to door and I was there to meet the container on both ends.
Add a 'round trip ticket into all that (Roughly $1500 from Vienna or Budapest) and the car cost me -$100 delivered to my door.

At least, that's how I justified the purchase to Mrs. Hungary

Thanks. I must admit that I did not know what currency was used in Hungary. I'm surprised that it isn't the Euro.
