Greetings, Moparites.... My 1962 dodge service manual shows how to remove/replace the steering box pinion shaft seal with the MILLER C-3880 and C-3778 tools that are now extinct and I cannot find anywhere! These tools allow you to repair the seal without removing the gear box. Is there ANY other possible method? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

You need a pitman arm puller. Remove the nut and pull the pitman arm off. Pull the snap ring below the seal. Start the engine turn the wheel to the stop. It’ll blow the seal out. Clean the pitman shaft with scotch brite as it may be rusty. Find the right size piece of exhaust tubing to drive the new seal in. Reinstall the arm.
