You can't make me not love this car...

Another B3 I have saved.

When did B3 change from lighter than B5 to "Corporate/Basin St/True/Petty"?
It was ‘72. Prior to that Petty blue had been used on production cars but as a limited edition 999 code on some roadrunners and of course Superbirds.
Since B3 had previously been a code for a metallic color, I’m not sure why they used that code for Petty blue rather than use a new code when it became a standard color option.

I found and posted my "go to" paint reference.

Ronnie Sox switched to an Automatic in 1966 get his (Sox & Martin's) Barracuda into the 8 second bracket...

Guess he didn’t like it. He switched back.

I was a truck driver for years. Give me a clutch pedal every time.

Ronnie Sox is in the top percentile of drag race drivers, and the crew was among the best at building and preparing racing cars.

no comparison to a stock restored car and the average gear head 4 speed fanatic.

plain English, if you can’t powershift your 4 speed (leave the gas pedal on the floor) through all 3 shifts in the 1/4 mile then a 727 will beat you.

A good driver can make the car go as fast as possible, a bad driver will just slow the car down.

The 4 speed sounds better going thru the gears. Who cares how much faster you are.... there’s someone faster than you.:D

Ya know, I knew better than to respond to the nonsense.

enjoy you clutch pedal

Exactly my thoughts too...
