It was all staged.
1. Smith initially laughed at the joke.
2. While wife looked mad.
4. Wife says something to Smith?
3. Smith then goes and (appears to) slap Rock.
4. Dead Oscars get headlines , media attention, and even talked about on a car forum.
Connect the dots.
I can agree with that!Just like the News. Fake. All about ratings.
Nope....never did watch that dog and pony crap. So: Was anyone watching the show when this happened? I didn't think so. That's all we have to know to connect the dots.
I don't think it was in front of millionsCheating wife or not, she is his wife and mother of his sons, alopecia is a serious condition for a woman, I think, he should not have done that in public in front of millions , besides not a single one of you guys would made fun of another man's wife in public, that's something we as man, do not do, but... I would be ashamed of this son

The whole Hollywood machine is on life support. This temper tantrum is pure hype/publicity intended to go viral. Does anyone really care if Jada's hair is thinning? Really? What a childish thing to do. At the very outside Will might have been justified to speak with Rock afterwards and ask him to chill on dissing his wife. But to assault him on stage at the Oscars. Will is either on drugs, unhinged, or it was a stunt. I'm voting for stunt. Why? Because what were the viewer numbers of that broadcast? What is the viewer numbers of the aftermath across all platforms? See what I mean?
Nope. Are you familiar with the term DILLIGAF
Are you familiar with the term DILLIGAF
Do I Look Like I Give A F.....Nope.
Idk... it seems like something that would happen on the MTV awards shows. You know, low rent. There’s no way the Academy would want that look. What do they call it? Toxic masculinity? But here’s another thing. Jada Pinkket was a successful actress before she met Smith. And as an actress, she knew going in that not everyone is going to like you. You just need enough to make bank. She lives in the Hollywood hills, and probably drives a Bentley. Or a Bugatti. Or something like that.

Or Jerry Springer.
It may or may not have been staged.
Maybe it was provoked?
The slap looked like something in a movie.
Full body rotation for emphasis and distraction. Rock didn't hold his face either.
And it may not have been sanctioned by the Academy.
But even we are "talking" about it.
That's not a criticism. Just analysis.
In some people's minds any publicity is good publicity.
but... does it translate to ratings? It won’t make me tune in next year. And I sure as hell didn’t watch this year. But a telling thing. I like to go to the few lefty sites that still allow comments. On Huff Post and the Atlantic, all the broads on there weren’t impressed by big willie. They say it was uncalled for and was an example of toxic masculinity. That bullshit isn’t going to make the 50% that I’m proud to be a part of watch next year. And it may have pissed off the few of the others that actually tuned in to see that garbage fest.
Oh... are we talking about the Oscars? Who won best actress? Or best picture? Don’t ask me!![]()
