Been working on it since I got it 4 weeks ago. Mainly on weekends. Had beed sitting for 22 years untouched. Mice had gotten to the wiring underwood. Had to rewire the engine compartment, rebuild the carb, new distributor and points, cap, rotor and plugs. Started it for the first time today. The vid file is to large to share. You can see it on my FB page. 66-67 Charger freaks. It started and ran great.

I posted pics on the gallery tab, I posted the vid on my Fb page. I have no interest in you tube.

Sorry, but I have no interest in facebook. Post up some pics of this thing in this thread you started. I'd like to see it. What did you do for the fuel tank? It had to be a mess.

All the pics I took are posted here on photo garages. I just up loaded the video on you tube @ Todd's Garage

I ran my electric pump plumbed directly into the carb and ran it from a boat tank with fresh gas. I by passed the tank until I can get it pulled and cleaned.

Look straight up, home, forums, ect ect, 3rd one to the left of the search tab. In the main header line.

So do I have to post it again for you?
It would help me quite a bit, I unfortunately have not figured out how to do that yet, it may be very simple but i am very new to the posting vid thing. Maybe you could pm me and tell me how i need to do it so I can do it myself next time. Yes thank you for helping me out

Sweet! I went through similar situations with my belvedere II and my Coronet 500, both 66s. Congrats. I had the same experience, both started up and ran with no noise other than an exhaust manifold gasket leaking on the 500. Did you rebuild the carb?

Very nice! But, really? It just fired and idled that well With no one on the gas pedal? Seems like it had been warmed up….

Nope, it did. Carb was rebuilt prior and a few weekends to get it ready to try to start, but that was the first start.
