No, they were bad, bad, BAD to the bone. Worked at a Yamaha Kawasaki dealership in those days. If they showed up at a street race, they would clean the plows of GTO's, Chevelles, 442's and take home the money. Fun days.

Those KZ 900's and their predecessors were the first "super bikes".


In my experience, just about any motorcycle can beat just about any car, unless it's a race only car and a really small bike.

I had a guy talk **** to me one day about how his honda s-2000 could "walk all over" my suzuki intruder 800.

I finally heard enough and we lined up.

Cleaned his clock no contest- several car lengths by 80 MPH.
