The Roach

My body man certainly is talented and knows, from experience, where to look for where the problem areas are. I'm going to request to be present when the lead guy comes in, just to see how that's done.
Oh you will be amazed at what a skill it is.Back in the mid 70 I use to watch my father in-law do this n to this day I just don’t have the skill even with what he taught me

Got my seats back from the upholsterer this afternoon. Now, I just need a car to put them in.

Looks like the armrest for your buddy seat needs a bit more foam?

Think that's the bottom, it's concave to fit the lower half.
Doesn't really matter if it is the top or bottom side of the arm rest, it just looks like it needs some more padding stuffed in it. That is what the gal who does mine always ends up doing to those anyway.

I really like white, but I don't. My 65 is white and my jeans bleed a little blue on the seats, but I drive it a lot. I put a white towel on it and tuck it in. Black interior was my go to color, it hides a lot, but he's not trying to hide a thing on this ride. White is clean and straight looking and NOTHING is going to make that car pop like the combination his car is going to be. A little foam and heat and you'll be in the driver's seat, LOL.. Looks fantastic!!

The car must have been in a hail storm as there were a bunch of small dings on all of the top surfaces.

Nice, showing what really happens. Most will never show the "skim coat". No working around same if you want a "straight" car!

Curious what the advantage to releading those joints are. Just asking because nobody around here does it, probably because nobody around here knows how. They get welded solid and then covered with fiberstrand filler.
