I moved a bunch of my hosta yesterday. They do take over. We're doing the mulch thing as well, with 2 layers of new cloth under it.

Planted some of the hosta around my ugly-*** power box

I may start some at the base of each maple, along the driveway....

Five houses ago we had rocked in areas that were full of perennials. We had hostas that were 4 foot around. They were beautiful. Before VERSA-LOK came around, I leveled and stacked 90 pound bags of concrete like bricks. Once I had a 180 bags delivered. I stack them, drive rebar through them, poke holes in them and water them for a few days. After they set up, I'd peel the paper off them. From a distance they looked like pillows. I had more people stop and asked how I did it. LOL. There still there to this day!!

there's a swamp across the street, and behind my property on the opposite side, I thought they crossed to go to the other side but they may have been laying eggs 0n the edge there for a while, never noticed with all the scrub trees. but will definately will accommodate. any future egg layers

I rode one of those in a McDonald's remodel we did in battle creek several years ago 2 layers of that red quarry tile. It was like hitting a brick wall.

I finally got around to mowing. The neighbors were having a grad party when I got home from the car show on Saturday, and it rained shortly after I got home from the car show on Sunday. Then my brother in law came over with his little trailer and hauled my snowblower to a local hardware store for service and summer storage.

My lake house, six foot rebar driven through each bag.

Theresa and I built all of it. You could walk under the bottom deck which was even with the basement floor, a walk out, 15 foot pour, 12 inch, rebar 16 inch center, horizontally and vertically.

They didn't have aluminum or steel spindles when I built this. 2x2 wood, would have blocked my view to much. Those spindles were 1/2 galvanized conduit. Cut, both ends dipped in paint and pinched between drilled hole on 4 inch centers. Each panel or section was built at home, numbered and slid into place and screwed. They went from the top to the bottom, everywhere you see deck, stairs and walkways. I bought the conduit, a hundred 10 foot pieces at Home Depot. The guy looked at me and said, Man, your running some juice, I just laughed.

Lost the argument on "we don't need more space" yesterday and got started on the base for our new 2076 piece puzzle! Going to try and get the load onto our old barge next week and out to the island. Not sure it'll take the weight in one load though. Not looking forward to lugging all the pieces some 150' up a 35% slope. I'm considering calling a buddy of a buddy and paying the $3000/hr to sling it with his A Star.

Didn’t work on my car, but yesterday I did take it to work. Our newest location opened January 5 but we waited until June 5 for the grand opening ceremony and customer appreciation event. One of my coworkers snapped this picture and shared it with me today. I think it looks pretty cool with old glory flying in the background.

CCW renewal coming up, I need to make sure I'm solid.

Then, I took this out for it's first full meal in over a decade:

1998 Buell police prototype, one of 12 built. 103hp v-twin. Got it as a basket case and have been accumulating parts for years...finally got it running last week, tagged it Monday, and put 11 miles on it today. Got some adjustments to make...but she's solid (and QUICK)!
