We had about 2” in NH on Thursday with rain. Melting off the roof today….

When I built cars, nothing ever went back together stock. Every bolt in the car were these. I had every size and length known to God. I still have far to many.

These have an alloy in them that make them by far more practical. These are grade 8 and 10.

The bottom is drilled and tapped for two 1/4 inch bolts to mount it to a base.
Ready to mount and pull wire. I'll be looking for a base. I may go to auto zone and buy the smallest brake rotor they have. We'll see, I've got nothing but time.

Little mechanical overhaul of a Z50. I have a high performance cam and big bore kit for it, but it runs so good. I might have to dig one of the others i have stashed away for that.

Getting a new windshield for the Satellite, waiting for a new seal. So I polished the trim and the grille. You can see Elsa the shop cat is not impressed.

The problem is, the smaller the diameter, the heavier it needs to be. It's going to be about 25 inches tall. I'm thinking air filter, top only with paper air filter for a shade. Open bottom for light to shine down. I don't think a harmonic balancer is even going to be heavy enough. I could do it out of some mahogany, but I'm thinking all metal. I'll probably go antiquing, but that can be dangerous. I have a habit of buying now for later. I'll end up giving it all away. Thank you for thinking of me!!!!!.. Ulli
